Natalie Schwan is a 25-year-old independent filmmaker, director, screenwriter, creative producer, musician and photographer. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, she moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to pursue film. Since her arrival in the valley, she has dedicated her time to opportunities that further her cinematic education, instill a working knowledge of the industry and bring a strong sense of storytelling to the screen.
Her travels have taken her to over 13 countries in Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and Oceania. She most recently spent two months studying film at the New Zealand Film Academy in Auckland.
Her debut film project, "How I Lost My Best Friends," a short film about coming-0f-age in your 20's, was accepted at the 2015 Los Angeles Women's International Festival and received an Award of Merit from the Best Shorts Competition. Natalie is always looking for creative partners in future collaborative projects that challenge the status quo and engage subjectively with the audience.
